Clouds over Mooresville, NC May 31, 2024 – Cloud Seeding the Sky, Episode 7
Another beautiful morning in Mooresville, NC.
Nothing but blue skies with some early morning planes crossing the sky. Clouds started rolling in about 40 seconds into the video. But not the puffy, natural clouds from yesterday. Thin, wispy clouds appeared from left to right across the screen.
As the morning when on, the wispy started getting thicker and at the 3:55 mark, the first cloud seeding plane went across the sky. Notice the haze gathering in the bottom right corner of the screen.
I moved the GoPro around in my backyard to keep if from overheating. At the 7 minute mark, the wispy clouds become thick. At the 7:26 mark, perfect lines across the sky start appearing and blending into the wispy clouds. Is this normal? Things start getting busy at the 9 minute mark with lots of perfect, straight-line clouds crossing the sky sequence and perfectly parallel – because that’s totally normal.
