Clouds over Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort, Virginia May 25, 2024 – Cloud Seeding the Sky, Episode 2
Kim and I spent the weekend at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort over Memorial Day 2024.
It’s a great place to get some great timelapses of the sky. The skies were pretty angry on the 25th with rain storms rolling in an out over the mountain. At the beginning of the video, I did catch a few plans with short Contrails.
What’s interesting is that what I consider to be normal clouds randomly form and are puffy. There’s a layer above these clouds that looks totally different. I did catch a couple long lasting trails in the afternoon sky.
At a minimum, it was great day for cloud watching.
